We compare the LELO Smart Wand 2 and Magic Wand Waterproof HV-360 head-to-head. Find out which wand massager fits your needs for powerful vibration, massage versatility, and waterproof play.
Quick answer
If you want a wand that doubles as a legit full-body massager with a wide range of settings, go with the LELO Smart Wand 2. If you prioritize raw, rumbly power and want to use your wand in the bath or shower, the Magic Wand Waterproof HV-360 is your best bet.
Massage vs pure power: two different approaches
Both wands deliver intense pleasure, but they're designed with different priorities. The LELO Smart Wand 2 focuses on versatility with 10 distinct settings that work equally well on sore muscles and erogenous zones. The Magic Wand Waterproof HV-360, on the other hand, is all about that legendary deep, rumbling power that made the original famous — now with the bonus of being fully submersible.
Your choice really comes down to whether you want a multi-purpose massager that can transition from neck tension to clitoral stimulation with the same device, or a dedicated powerhouse that excels at delivering one very specific kind of vibration.
Waterproof capability: a key difference
The Magic Wand Waterproof HV-360 has an IPX7 rating, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. That opens up shower and bath play, plus easier cleaning. The LELO Smart Wand 2 is not marketed as fully waterproof, so you'll need to be more careful around water and stick to dry or damp environments.
If water-based fun is non-negotiable for you, the Magic Wand is the clear winner here. But if you mostly use your wand in bed or on a massage table, the LELO's lack of waterproofing may not matter.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Versatility vs raw power: The LELO Smart Wand 2 offers 10 settings that work for massage and pleasure, while the Magic Wand Waterproof focuses on delivering deep, rumbling power that's less varied but more intense.
- Waterproof vs not: The Magic Wand Waterproof is IPX7-rated for full submersion; the LELO Smart Wand 2 is not waterproof. Choose based on whether you want bath/shower use. If water play is important, the Magic Wand is your only option here.
- Price difference: The LELO Smart Wand 2 is priced at $162.59 (compare at $229.00), while the Magic Wand Waterproof HV-360 is $134.19 (compare at $189.00). The Magic Wand is more affordable, but the LELO offers more settings.
